30 MINUTES EVERYDAY

I have a tendency to adopt quickly any practice that make me feel good and my days more beautiful, productive and amazing. Here is my 30 minute ritual that I will follow regardless how crazy busy or lazy I'm in order to maximize my days.

05:00 minute - Morning Makeup
I grew up seeing my mom wakes up at 5.45am in the morning and leaves home at 6 a.m to work everyday for almost 30 years. Make up seem to be luxury to her but she's still able to squeeze some time to put on moisturizer, a thin layer of lipstick which she also use as a blush, and a few coats of mascara. I find myself copying almost my mom's daily makeup routine. No matter how busy I'm, I always spare 5 minutes to makeup every morning. Moisturizer, eye cream, sun screen, mascara, eye brow shadow and tinted lip balm are such must-haves for me. If I have time, I would swipe a neutral eye shadow in my eye lids. I look much more awake, healthier and put together with just a little bit makeup. Also, my confidence get a little push. I'm not afraid of bumping into my old friends, Helen's friend's parents, or even my husband's ex because I know I look good every day.
5 minute make up for Fall.
Mình lớn lên, thấy mẹ mình sáng sáng thứ dậy lúc 5.45 phút, ra khỏi nhà đi làm lúc 6.00 trong suốt hơn 30 năm. Dù quỹ thời gian buổi sáng của mẹ vô cùng eo hẹp, ngày nào mẹ cũng dành chút thời gian, bôi kem dưỡng, đánh lớp son mỏng, rồi dùng ngay son đó làm má hồng, quệt thêm lớp mascara (không kẹp mi). Giờ mình cũng bắt chước mẹ. Dù có bận rộn thế nào, nhất định mỗi buổi sáng mình đều dành ra ít nhất 5 phút cho makeup. Kem dưỡng, kem mắt, chống nắng, mascara, chút xíu kẻ lông mày, và son dưỡng có màu. Nếu có dư thời gian, mình tán chút phấn mắt nhũ nâu lên bầu mắt. Với một chút makeup, mình thấy mình trông khỏe mạnh, tỉnh táo, tươi tắn hơn. Tự tin cũng tăng lên. Mình không ngại nếu có tình cờ gặp bạn bè cũ, cha mẹ của bạn Helen, hoặc thậm chí người cũ của ông xã vì mình biết mình ra đường hôm nay trông rất ổn.
10:00 minutes - Daily planning
I write down planning in my journal almost every single day during the week but tend to forget to make a schedule for weekend. Then, I noticed for days without planning, I seem to finish nothing and just lounge around the house. Creating a to-do list makes me feel so much focused, organized, productive and accomplished. I love the feeling of setting goals for a day and crossing out every task that I complete. Very rewarding!
Stickers, color pens are practical accessories to planning.
 Thói quen của mình là viết xuống những việc mình cần làm vào sổ planner hàng ngày. Nhưng cuối tuần, mình khá là lơ đễnh, thường để sổ trống trơn. Rồi mình nhận ra những ngày mình không có kế hoạch gì, mình thường chẳng làm được việc gì, quanh quẩn cũng hết ngày. Lập một list việc cần làm giúp mình tập trung, có tổ chức, làm việc hiệu quả hơn. Mình cũng thích cảm giác đặt ra mục tiêu trong ngày và gạch bỏ khỏi danh sách khi đã hoàn thành xong công việc.
10:00 minutes - Exercise/workout
I start doing exercise 3 years ago. I think the hardest part of workout is to overcome laziness and to push yourself to do it. Once you determine to workout, everything is enjoyable. The thing get me into fitness is I want to tone my body, especially abs and thighs since I have a kid. But I realize workout gives me so much more than a fit body. I always workout at night, then take a shower and go to bed. I notice I have better sleep quality. Also, concentrating on exercise relieves me from stress, negative thoughts, and anxiety. I really enjoy refreshing feelings of my body and mind after every workout. I often do cardio, squads, and abs with youtube video or run in the treadmill. All at home, never at gym.

Mình bắt đầu tập thể dục cách đây 3 năm. Với mình phần khởi động vượt qua cái sự lười biếng và bắt bản thân phải hoạt động chính là phần khó khăn nhất. Một khi đã quyết tâm, mọi thứ còn lại rất tuyệt vời. Mình đến với tập tành ban đầu bởi mình muốn có một cơ thể săn chắc hơn, nhất là vùng bụng, đùi và eo vì mình đã từng sinh con. Rồi mình nhận thấy tập thể thao cho mình nhiều lợi ích hơn thế. Sau khi tập, tắm rửa sạch và đi ngủ, mình thấy ngủ ngon và sâu hơn. Khi tập trung vào bài tập, cơ thể mình hoàn toàn được giải phóng khỏi stress, những suy nghĩ tiêu cực và lo lắng. Mình thích cảm giác sảng khoái, khỏe khoắn về thể chất lẫn tinh thần có được sau mỗi buổi tập. Mình tập cardio, squad và bụng với video trên Youtube hoặc chạy máy chạy. Tất cả đều tập ở nhà.
05:00 minutes - Night Skincare
Skincare is a thing you can see its outcomes if you consistently take care your skin over a period of time. The early you start, the better your skin will look. My 5 minute night skincare routine includes taking off completely make up and dirt in my face, washing and massaging my face with a cleanser for at least 1 minutes, putting on eye cream, massaging my face with vitamin C serum and applying thick moisturizer. Since I focus on skincare, I just need a minimal makeup daily.
A clean face is a beautiful face.
Dưỡng da là điều bạn sẽ thấy kết quả rõ ràng sau một thời gian kiên trì chăm sóc. Bạn càng sớm chăm sóc da bao nhiêu thì càng tốt bấy nhiêu. 5 phút dưỡng da buổi tối của mình bao gồm tẩy sạch hoàn toàn makeup và bụi bẩn, massage mặt với sửa rửa mặt ít nhất trong1 phút, rửa sạch mặt, bôi kem mắt, serum, massage nhẹ và cuối cùng là kem dưỡng ẩm. Vì mình đầu tư đều đặn vào dưỡng da nên ban ngày mình chỉ cần trang điểm tối giản là đủ.

  4. I really love this post and your routine! I agree that when it comes to workout, all we really had to do is overcome the laziness and just get that ass off to work! But honestly, it's really hard.. I need to work on my daily planning, because lately the days always went by without any plan and I'll just end up doing nothing but laying on my bed in front of my laptop :(
