3 TIPS FOR PRODUCTIVITY

Happy Tuesday, friends! I noticed the second day of the week seems to not get as much attention as other days. But I'll share with you some tips that I saw wonderful results in helping me be more productive. Hopefully, that will elevate your Tuesday a bit. Don't forget to share with me your practical tip to increase productivity. I'll definitely give it a try!
Pick out clothes a night before
I hate wasting time standing in front of the closet and trying to figure out what to wear in the morning when I'm in crazy rush of getting my kid ready and driving her to school on time. I find every minute in the morning so precious. That's reason why I try to pick the clothes right before I go to bed so I don't have to think about it in the morning. If I have tons of inspiration, I will select outfits for the next couple days. Even if I'm just in the mood of T-shirt and a pair of jeans, I still attempt to do that in advance. The bonus is I find myself reaching to varied pieces in my clothes when planning outfits instead of wearing the same things all the time.
Make a detail to-do list
I recently moved my daily to-do lists from a planner into a notebook. I now use planner for noting appointments/special dates and a regular notebook to jog down tasks/works that need to be accomplished in a day. Notebook gives me more room and flexibility. My list is always started with the most important/urgent tasks/appointments that must get done in that day. The following are things less pressured and organized into categories such as Follow-up, Tasks, House-works, Helen's etc. For me, writing down a to-do list for each day make me super productive and satisfied with a sense of accomplishment.
Set alarm
No matter how much I attempt to keep track on things, I'm still forgetful sometimes. Alarm is such a helpful assistant in terms of reminding me something I tend to not remember. I set alarm twice in the morning for waking me up; once for taking vitamins and picking up Helen. I exclusively set alarm for things I'm not allowed myself to forget. Here is my tip: Don't set too many alarms! Since they will interrupt you with annoying sounds, creating a counter effect on your productivity.

  5. Oh dear, you are so organised!! I just do my daily 'lucky draw' from the wardrobe and if I'm lucky I'll look well-coordinated in my outfits.. (which is why dresses are so important!)
And on certain days when I have spare time, I might just do some ironing and wear the outfit of my choice hehehe.. I just like to keep my life impromptu and random :) Have a fab week hun!

  8. I cannot tell everyone how on point these three simple tips are. Especially the one where you tell folks to lay out clothes the night before. If you can't do that then at least spend some time thinking over your outfit in your head. Seriously, it works. LoL Thanks for sharing and I'll be hearing my alarm go off in about 5minutes. LoL

    Have a great week

  160. I too have to write everything down if it's going to get done. But I usually keep a digital record on my laptop (while I'm working) or on my phone (on the go). I know some people like writing it down so that they can physically cross it off, which gives a nice sense of accomplishment. But these days, if it's not in my phone, I'll forget to get to it.
