It's been a while since I did WHAT I ATE TODAY post. This is one of the most difficult post to execute because when I'm hungry, taking pictures is the last thing I want to do. If you love food, you can follow me on Instagram where I often post homemade food pictures.

7.45 am: A big cup of coffee
I have a big cup of coffee every morning. Lately, I tried and really enjoyed black coffee sweetened with unsweetened soy milk (Does it make any sense to you?). The coffee enriches more with texture and sweetness from soy milk which doesn't take away coffee's favor at all. Try it if you haven't.
7.45 sáng: Một ly cà phê bự
Mình uống cà phê mỗi sáng. Gần đây, mình thử và cực kỳ thích uống cà phê sữa đậu nành. Nghe có vẻ hơi kỳ nhưng thực ra rất ngon. Sữa đậu nành không đường làm cho cà phê rất béo và hơi ngọt ngọt mà không hề mất đi vị cà phê chút nào. Mọi người thử uống xem có ngon như mình nói không nhé?
12.05 pm: Dark roasted turkey with veggies and macaroni and cheese
I skipped breakfast so I went a little bit over board with lunch. The dark roasted turkey meat is from grocery store. Mac and Cheese is Helen's lunch leftover I made for her in the morning. I just did a quick veggies steam with broccoli and carrot.

Mình không ăn sáng nên bữa trưa ăn bù hơi bị nhiều. Thịt gà quay mình mua sẵn ở siêu thị. Mỳ nui ăn thừa đồ ăn mình làm cho Sáp mang đi học ăn trưa. Chỉ có luộc mỗi rau là xong.
2.00 pm: A cup of hot green tea
The big plate of lunch kept me so full so I made a cup of green tea to help with digestion. Having a hot drink in the afternoon of winter day is so relaxing and cozy.
2.00 chiều: Một ly trà xanh nóng
Sau bữa trưa, mình không thể nhồi nhét thêm được gì vô bụng. Một ly trà xanh nóng vừa giúp tiêu hóa dễ dàng, vừa thư giãn, cực kỳ hợp cho buổi chiều đông khá lạnh.
4.20 pm: A small honeycrisp apple
Apple Fuji apple was the only apple I ate until I came across Honeycrisp last week. They are super juicy, crispy and a little bit sour. The cool thing is they doesn't turn brown after cutting as fast as other apples.

Mình đã từng chỉ ăn duy nhất táo Fuji cho đến khi tình cờ phát hiện và thử em táo mới này tuần trước- táo Honeycrisp, cực kỳ ròn, nhiều nước, hơi chua chua. Đặc biệt là không bị đổi màu nâu khi cắt ra như những loại táo khác nhé.
6.45 pm: White rice with sautéed shrimp and Tom yum soup
It definitely gets colder at night here. That's a perfect time for making Tom yum soup. I love putting tons of mushroom, tomatoes and cilantro into the soup. I sautéed large shrimps with olive oil, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes. Less than 30 minutes dinner is done.

LA nơi mình ở đã thực sự bắt đầu lạnh, thời điểm thích hợp nhất để ăn canh chua Thái Mình thích nấu thật nhiều nấm, cà chua, và ngò. Tôm xào qua với dầu olive, muối, tiêu và chút xíu parsley khô. Vậy là bữa tối chưa tới 30 phút đã hoàn thành.

This post made me laugh! I can totally understand not wanting to take photos of your food when you’re hungry! Haha sometimes I give up even instagramming my food because it takes so damn long to get a decent shot of the food you just want to eat. The lunch looks delicious by the way.
